 Echo Mountain - 01/02/09 | Back to the GrindThe weekend has come & gone, and so has the beginning of the new year. With our first Monday behind us we can look forward to finishing off the week in style as some more snow moves into Ski Country. With all of the long weekends and holidays we've had these past few weeks we were getting used to hitting the slopes quite often. Alas, the working schedule returns to normal but that doesn't mean we can't call in sick once in a while! The only question is how long can we hold out before using our first 'sick day' to head back to the snow covered peaks of Colorado Ski Country. |

Tasty New Treats for ’08-’09
With almost every resort officially open for the 2008-2009 season and copious amounts of snow falling, here’s a list of some of the tasty new treats on the menu in Colorado to whet your appetite this winter. 1. The latest accoutrement in the transformation of Winter Park is the eight-passenger Village Cabriolet lift that will shuttle 2,800 skiers and snowboarders per hour from the free parking lots at the Vintage Hotel to the base of the new resort’s new village.

Brian Mahon Memorial Fund
**A memorial for Brian Mahon will be held at Eldora Mountain
Resort in the Indian Peaks Lodge on Monday, January 5, 2009. The
memorial begins at 6:00pm and is open to the public.**
From everyone at Colorado Ski Country USA, our sympathies and
condolences go out to our friends at Eldora and their
families.
Brian Mahon 1959 - 2008
A memorial fund has been established in Brian Mahon's name at the
Mutual of Omaha Bank in Nederland.
