Irish Weekend

The luck of the Irish (as well as the snow) is coming to Ski Country this weekend! With St Patrick's Day falling mid-week next week many are using this weekend for celebrations and libations all over Colorado. Copper Mountain will be one such mountain with their annual O'Fuego event at the base of the slopes. For us powder lovers the Irish luck has translated into some great powder totals around the state including Monarch Mountain, Silverton, Wolf Creek, Telluride, Powderhorn and many more. Find that green outfit and kick out to the slopes for a little Irish fun this weekend!

  • P
    •   P = PowderIcelantic's Shaman
Ah, Freshies, Pow-Pow, Un-Tracked Bliss, Heaven, Powder! By any other name this is the snow we all strive for, wish for, hope for, and seek out. Powder... How can we really describe the sensation of floating through pillow after pillow of soft Colorado powder? Ripping through the glades, chutes, steeps, and open bowls? This is something that must be experienced to truly understand. If this lonely 'P' is next to any mountain name it's time you drop what your doing and get to the slopes. Truly memorable Powder Days are hard to come by - don't miss yours.

To get the most out of your Powder Days, you're going to need the right set of tools. Icelantic's Shaman is that tool, balancing the skier's weight for a forward, powerful powder turn unlike anything you have ever believed possible. With a truly unique shape and design, the Shaman provides excellent maneuverability while its 160 mm tip rivals even the biggest powder skis in floatation and stability. And don't be fooled by the wide girth, the Shaman rips the groomers with its aggressive sidecut and torsional rigidity. So go ahead, shed your inner demons and put The Shaman to the test.
  • P/PP

    •   HP = Hard PackIcelantic's Pilgrim
The wind is blowing in your face, clouds move quickly over the distant mountain peaks, and you are looking down the empty slope from the starting ridge. As you drop into the run the distinct sound of hardpack snow can be heard underfoot, but your edges hold firm as you shred down the slope. Slicing through the icy top layer with ease, your full concentration is on the drop ahead. Landing smoothly, you cruise to the base lodge for a warm cup of chocolate with friends.

Icelantic's Pilgrim is a twin tip, highly stable, powerfully fun ski designed for hard packed as well as varied slopes. A soft tail combined with a solid flex and substantial sidecut gives The Pilgrim the edge - literally. Those willing to set out on the journey describe the ski as lightweight, playful and powerful - a tool that does it all!
  • MM
    •   MM = Machine MadeIcelantic's Da'Nollie
When Mother Nature can't provide it, the mountain crews will make it. Whether they're laying down a good base of snow for Old Man Winter to build upon, or they're creating the perfect competition half-pipe, machine made snow is both useful and essential to the local mountain crews. Solid in its nature, yet infinitely moldable, this unique blend of engineering & artistry has brought forth the modern snow park and all the progression and glory that comes with it.

At home in the back bowls as much as in the park, Icelantic's Da'Nollie is a brand new kind of ski for the most progressive of park riders. This model contains Icelantic's Nollie-Flex Core, which features a powerful 'pop zone' that lets the rider Ollie, Nollie and butter the hell out of any feature on the hill. In an age where style points rule supreme, Da'Nollie takes park riding to a whole new dimension. This fresh new ski is the real deal - catch on now before it passes you by.
  • SP
    •   SP = Spring-LikeIcelantic's Scout SFT
When Spring-Like conditions are in effect you know it will be a gorgeous day on the slopes. The snow is soft, the sun is out, and the heavy ski-jacket can be left in the car. On a Colorado day like this where the turns are buttery smooth, the goggle tan is in full gear, and the base-lodge patios are open for business - you know you've found a little slice of paradise. Yank the kids from school, pack up the family, and head to the slopes on days like this. This is how family-time is supposed to feel.

Days like this are when Icelantic's Scout SFT is at its best - built just like the traditional Scout, only with a softer flex for you youngsters and smaller adults.
