Denver, Colo. – October 17, 2014 – Colorado’s 2014/15 ski season is underway today as a crowd of ecstatic skiers and
snowboarders celebrated at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area. Atop an 18-inch base of packed powder, at 9:00 a.m. the Black
Mountain Express high-speed quad chairlift began delivering eager snow riders to the top of the intermediate High Noon
run for their first turns of the year.
This winter, new flights and expanded service from major hub airports will make Colorado Ski Country USA even more accessible to skiers and snowboarders from all over the world. New service from San Francisco (SFO) and Washington, D.C. (IAD) and expanded options from Dallas (DAL), Los Angeles (LAX) and Houston (IAH) will bring domestic and international guests directly into the heart of Colorado Ski Country more conveniently than ever before.
Denver, Colo. – September 17, 2014 – Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA), the trade association and global voice of skiing and snowboarding in Colorado, today unveiled the 2014/15 Colorado Gems Card program and announced that cards are now available for purchase. For the 2014/15 season, the Gems Card program features two-for-one lift tickets at eight signature Colorado Gems ski resorts and exclusive Flash Deal promotions offered at Gems resorts throughout the season.

Denver, Colo. – August 26, 2014 – Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA), the trade association and global voice of skiing and snowboarding in Colorado, announced today that its popular 5th and 6th Grade Passport Programs are now available for the 2014/15 ski season. The Passport Programs introduce fifth and sixth grade kids to skiing and snowboarding by giving fifth graders free access, and sixth graders discounted access, to twenty of Colorado’s ski resorts.
Denver, Colo. – June 13, 2014 – Yesterday evening at the 51st Annual Meeting of Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA), Colorado’s ski resorts capped a record-setting 2013/14 season with the Double Diamond Awards, where individuals who have made significant contributions to the industry were recognized for their excellence.
Industry leaders gathered at Copper Mountain Resort to recognize ski area employees whose diligence and expertise were crucial in providing a superior guest experience, including snow makers, groomers, terrain masters, ski instructors, and ski patrollers who have distinguished themselves through their great skill and effort. Copper Mountain, Colo. – June 12, 2014 – Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) announced today at the association’s 51st Annual Meeting that statewide skier visits totaled an estimated 12.6 million for the 2013/14 ski season, thereby making it the best season on record in the state. This estimation shows Colorado being up more than 10 percent compared to last season and more than 8 percent compared to the five-year-average.
