Denver, Colo. – September 8, 2015 – To build on the unparalleled guest experience for which skiing in Colorado is known throughout the world, for the 2015-16 ski season, Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) member resorts are investing in guest-facing infrastructure and amenities that will further enhance every facet of the skier and snowboarder experience, on and off the slopes.
From major investments in new chairlifts and terrain enhancements to improvements to on-mountain dining and culinary offerings, CSCUSA resorts continue to hold guest satisfaction in the highest regard. Capital improvements for the upcoming ski season will elevate the premier skiing and snowboarding experience at Colorado Ski Country USA resorts.
Below is a summary of the many upgrades at CSCUSA resorts that guests will enjoy during the 2015-16 ski season.
Denver, Colo. – August 25, 2015 – Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA), the trade association and global voice of skiing and snowboarding in Colorado, announced today that registration for its popular 5th and 6th Grade Passport Programs is now open for the 2015/16 ski season. The Passport Programs introduce fifth and sixth grade kids to skiing and snowboarding by giving fifth graders free access, and sixth graders discounted access, to twenty of Colorado’s ski resorts. Often imitated, CSCUSA’s Passport Program is the original and unmatched opportunity for kids to become avid skiers and snowboarders.
Boulder, Colo. – June 12, 2015 – Yesterday evening at the 52nd Annual Meeting of Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA), Colorado’s ski resorts capped a record-setting 2014/15 season with the Double Diamond Awards, where individuals who have made significant contributions to the industry were recognized for their excellence in competition, patrol, instruction, operations, and ski area management.
Boulder, Colo. – June 11, 2015 – Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) announced today at the association’s 52nd Annual Meeting that skier visits at its 21 member resorts totaled 7.1 million in 2014/15, off by a little more than one-half of one percent compared to last year’s CSCUSA membership season total. However, this estimation shows CSCUSA resort visits up over the five-year-average by 6.5 percent. Non-CSCUSA member resorts declined to report Colorado visits for 2014/15, so a statewide total is not available.
