Colorado Ski Country USA Resorts Ready to Welcome Summer

Denver, Colo. – May 13, 2014 – With the end of Colorado’s memorable 2013/14 ski and snowboard season in sight - except for perennial late closer Arapahoe Basin – Colorado Ski Country USA resorts are turning toward summer operations. Denver, Colo. – March 27, 2014 – A fast-moving band of storms covered Colorado’s high country in fresh snow last night, delivering powder skiing and snowboarding conditions to Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) resorts and their guests. Overnight, CSCUSA resorts recorded an average of 7 inches of new snow and two resorts welcomed a foot or more of fresh powder, the perfect treat for families enjoying spring break in Colorado’s high country.

Mid-week Storm Piles More New Snow on Colorado Ski Country USA

Powder continues to descend on ski resorts throughout Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) as winter in the Rocky Mountains shifts into high gear. Ahead of what looks to be another great week of skiing and snowboarding, winter storms have again brought new snowfall to all 21 CSCUSA member resorts. Up to 22 inches of new snow has fallen in the last 48 hours, with steady accumulation expected to continue through Sunday.

New Snow Blankets All Corners of Colorado Ski Country USA

Denver, Colo. – January 31, 2014 – A strong winter storm has delivered a bounty of powdery new snow to all 21 Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) resorts, promising a Super Bowl weekend of great snowriding. In the last 48 hours, up to 29 inches has fallen for skiers and snowboarders to enjoy, and more is on the way. So far, CSCUSA resorts have received 19.5 inches of new snow on average; 18 resorts have recorded double-digit snow totals, and nine resorts have recorded two feet or more of fresh powder.
