Colorado is home to a handful of Bucket List resorts. You probably know them by name: Aspen. Snowmass. Steamboat. Telluride. Winter Park. They’ve earned their fame for a reason, and those reasons are sound and borne out by the experience you’ll undoubtedly have should you visit these storied ski areas (and we recommend that you do!).
But here in the great, glorious state of Colorado, in this state where snow falls so light and dry it’s been compared to champagne, where you can see it rainin’ fire in the sky, the Bucket List resorts are not your only option. If you want powder without the pretense, lifts without liftlines, and ticket prices that leave you with plenty of Pueblo-chile-and-fries money, look no further than our Gems: Arapahoe Basin, Cooper, Echo Mountain, Eldora, Granby Ranch, Hesperus, Loveland, Monarch, Powderhorn, Purgatory, and Sunlight.

The Gems Discount Card is designed to give you flexible savings on full-price, same-day lift tickets.
The Gems Discount Card discounts apply only to full-price lift tickets and can’t be combined with other offers.
What do we mean when we say “full-price lift ticket”?
Some resorts may advertise an already-discounted lift ticket for weekday and non-peak skiing. Remember that whichever Gems Discount Card discount you choose, 30% off or a same-day BOGO ticket, it will be applied to the highest published price (aka, the “ticket window” price); it will not apply to any advertised or not advertised discounts.
Keep in mind that, because of dynamic ticket pricing, your biggest savings is likely to be on the weekends.
Savvy skiers know that weekday skiing is often already discounted, and we encourage you to find those deals and take them, snow lovers. Save your Gems Discount Card for a weekend with your besties.
What about A-Basin?
Your Gems Discount Card works a little differently at Arapahoe Basin; online pre-purchase is required of flat rate $79 midweek adult lift tickets (Tue–Thu) or $99 weekend adult lift tickets (Fri–Mon). One per cardholder.

Limit one (1) per customer. Please allow 3–5 business days for activation.
After you complete your purchase and your Gems Discount Card has been activated, log in to the CSCUSA Pass Portal.
Once there, validate each of your planned visits to a member resort. You can validate a visit up to seven (7) days in advance. You will receive a Visit Validation code email (you can also access each of your Visit Validation codes in your Pass Portal) and instructions for How to Redeem at each member resort.
We’ll track exactly how many visits you have available at each member resort. Just validate and visit the ticket window!
CSCUSA passes and cards take approximately 3-5 days* to activate. You will receive an email notifying you when they are ready to use.

Passes and cards may be validated as early as seven (7) days before your planned visit, or on the day of your planned visit.
Once a validation is confirmed, it cannot be canceled.
Some member resorts may require you to follow a multi-step process to redeem your Visit Validation code.
We recommend taking a screenshot of each of your Visit Validation codes, so you don’t have to rely on internet/email access once you are at the ticket window of your chosen resort. Many resorts have only variable broadband service capability at or near their base area.
