Best Known For:

Colorado’s best place to learn: Because of its convenient proximity to the Front Range, Eldora is known as Colorado’s best place to learn. Getting here doesn’t involve a big production and long drive on Interstate 70—we’re fun, mellow, and family-friendly, though we’ve got plenty of heart-thumping steep and glades, if that’s what you or some of your crew is looking for. Our Ski & Ride School offers excellent day lessons for kids and adults, as well as multi-week learning programs beloved by local families. Learn more here.

Naturally progressive terrain: Our terrain is naturally progressive from east to west, meaning that the easiest learning terrain is on the mountain’s east side and then terrain becomes progressively more challenging as you move west. The advantage? Those learning to ski and ride aren’t mixed with speedier experts, ensuring a friendly learning environment. As you improve, you can move west and seek out terrain that matches your abilities.

Woodward Mountain Park: The Woodward Mountain Park at Eldora is a network of featured terrain zones that, together, offer a balanced variety of exciting on-mountain experiences for all ages and abilities. The Woodward Mountain Park is complete with base area learning zones, large freestyle zones, and everything in between. Through an artfully constructed progression-based design, the Woodward Mountain Park guides athletes through an evolutionary journey that is ultimately controlled by their own personal goals and individual style.
